We have had a wonderful year at our stud farm. We have got a lot of new friends around the world. Seen a lot of fantastic ponies and horses and have had a great time with our friends and family.

Our stallion Mister Malthe has become an Elitestallion. The highest honour a stallion can hope for in Denmark. And he did it as the youngest ever, so we are very proud of him. More than 70% of his offsprings which has been shown at the selections are in 1.class and out of these more than 85% has been given a medal. He has two approved sons and a lot of offsprings which now show themselves in high levels at the competitions. Malthe now compete at the highest level in dressage in Denmark.

The offsprings of Sirius Hippios has really done well this year. Riddersholm Salem was selected as Overall Champion at the stallion selection in Belgium. Zephyr Hippios has been sold to USA where he shall bee a hunterpony in the future. Sirius compete in dressage against horses and he is doing very well.

Offem Minos has done it very well in showjumping and in shows this year. His first offsprings in Denmark were born in 2007 and they all looks very promising.

Our three mares Natviol, Za Za and Asteria have all been covered by Minos and we are expecting our first foal in the begining of March 2008.

Our youngster are growing and looking fine. Achilleus Hippios has begone his training and we are planing to show him at the selection the 1.th of March. Because he is in close family with our other ponies, we are planing to sell him after the selection.

Gay Count Shetan, a son of Mister Malthe, has completed his 30 days performance test together with the Danish Sportsponies.

He is going to be shown to the NF final stallion selection the 1 of March 2008

Riddersholm Salem sire Sirius Hippios was selected as Overall Champion in Belgium at the stallion election. He did his riding test very well with high scores. All of the judges took Salem as a winner. He also recived the French cup from the French New Forest Association.

We sold Salem to Belgium last year.

Malthe have qualified to become an Elite Stallion, because of his big influence in the Danish NF breeding. His off springs high skills and results in competions and his own performance results and his off springs results in selections.

His NF-number is now NFHR-E 108. He is the youngest NF stallion in Denmark ever to become an Elite Stallion.

It is a very big honour for us and we are very proud of Malthe.

Sirius (the son of Malthe) has the most Elite animals in his peddigree of all stallion ever approved in Denmark.

Zephyr is sold to USA. He is going to become a hunter pony, when he is old enough to be ridden. We are so happy that Courtney decided to buy him and we hope she will be just as happy for him as we has been. We know he will make us proud in the future and look forward to follow him.

Malthe had his first start in PRM dressage (the highest class for ponies in dressage in DK) at a big national dressage competition. He did very well and got 62% eventhough the rain were pouring down.

8th of June
At the biggest horse and cattle show (Roskilde Dyrskue) in Northern Europe Michael show for the first time in his life a horse and it was Minos who was his debut - it went very well and Minos got 23point and mark of Hounor.

26th of May Minos was back on the jumping fields. He started a single class. He did very well and ended up among the best of the ponies.

The same day one of Malthes offspring also competed in jumping. I haven´t seen this stallion for three years and he has defently developed very well.

Asteria gave us a wonderful black filly out of Offem Minos. She is so cute, moves very well and has a nice friendly temper. We are very pleased with her.

All our three mares are covered by Minos this year. We have chosen, that Malthe and Sirius will mostly do competitions and since Minos ´ offsprings are so lovely, we decided to have three of them in 2008.

May
Malthe and his rider Louise are now qualified to start at the higeste competitions in Denmark in dressage. They got 64,5% in PRI and 64.0% in PRT at a big dressage competition were some of the best riders in Denmark competed.

26th of May Louise and Malthe also won the championship in dressage with 72% in their riding club.

25.February
Riddersholm Salem - sire Sirius Hippios was elected as a stallion in Belgium. We sold the stallion to Patrick Coemans in the autum and we are very happy with his result. Congratulations to Patrick, his family and of course Salem. We hope the mares in Belgium will be as happy as we are :o)

Arion summer 2006

16.-17.February
Arion Hippios are now at his new owner Eric Reckers place in Belgium. We are very pleased that Eric choose to buy Arion. He is now "stablefriend" with Kalliope Hippios. Hopefully Eric will be as happy for Arion as he is of Kalliope. Good Luck to you all :o)

On our way home from Belgium we took a detour to Holland and visit the Stallion selection in Ermelo. Orlando was selected as Young Champion (he was my favorit the hole day - what a stallion!) and Major was selected as Champion.

Sirius Hippios

January
We have more mud and rain in Denmark than ever before. Our fields are wet and the ponies are dirty every evening they come back in the stable - but the spring is near - in a couple of months the sun will be back, the grass will grow and most fun of all the foals will be born :o)

We are going to have to foals this year. One out of Minos and Asteria and one out of Sirius and Natviol. We are really looking forward to see them, since we have never tried those combinations before.

Kalliope (fullsister of Sirius) has together with Blåbærhegnets Q-Sine left us to be with her new owner Eric Reckers in Belgium. We hope Kalliope will bring as much joy and plesure to her new family as she has done to us. We are really going to mish her, she is one of a kind.

At the Nationale Stallion Selection in Belgium Riddersholm Salem (sire Sirius Hippios) was one of two stallion to pass. We bought Salem when he was 1 years old and sold him to Patrick Coeman only a couple of month ago.

Salem is 2½ years old, the other stallion was the 3½ years old Dusty (sire Nieuwoeds Patrick). Lamento III was selected as Champion of the Day.

It has been a very good day for the young Hippios ponies. Orion Hippios (full brother of Sirius) won the 5 years old Championship in dressage, Asteria Hippios won the 5 years old Championship in showjumping, Sirius was second in the 6 years old Championship in dressage only 1% from number one and Niobe Hippios (full sister of Asteria) became second in the 6 years old Championship in showjumping.

All tree stallions participated in the regional New Forest show and did it very well. Malthe compeeded in dressags, while both Sirius and Minos compeeded in both dressage and showjumping.

17th of July
Asteria was jumped for the first time in her life. She never stop to impress us. She jumped all the fences, including a fence with bright blue water underneath it. She didn´t try to stop or look at the fences at anytime.

She really loved it and it is so nice to work with a pony like that. A pony wich always makes you happy.

Asteria is covered by Minos this year and we are looking very much forward to se the foal

9th of July
Minos compeeded for the first time in eventing. He did very well and became 3th with a clear round both in showjumping and in the forest

24-25th of June
At the annual mare selection Asteria Hippios became a 1.class mare and was awarded a bronze medal. Niobe Hippios, Esk. Za Za Zee, Athene Hippios also was awarded a bronze medal while Artemis Hippios was awarded a silver medal.

In total Mister Malthe had 4 daughters which was awarded bronze medal and further more a dauther in 1.class. Both his foals was 1 premium foals and one of them was the best filly.

Esk.Mørk Natviol had in total 3 daughters with medal and Esk.Za Za Zee 1 daughter with a medal.

Minos in the "Roskilde Kvadrille"

26-28th of May
At the biggest show in Nothern Europ all our tree stallion was shown.

We are very proud of all tree, since Mister Malthe got the maximum score 24 point and mark of honour and both Offem Minos and Sirius Hippios got 23 point.

All tree stallions also participated in the big New Forest show "Narnia". Minos was Edmund, Malthe was Susan while Sirius was Tomnus.

Saturday Minos also was ridden in the "Roskilde Kvadrille" a show, where two horses from each breed is shown together - a total of 52 horses was in the ring on the same time and Minos did it very well for the New Forest breed.

Saturday the sun was shining most of the time, but Friday and specially Sunday it was raining most of the day.

Sirius Hippios

18th of May
Our young mare Asteria Hippios (sire: Mister Malthe, dam: Esk.Mørk Natviol) had a rider on for the 3th time. She is the most easy horse I have ever seen and she loves to be out working. Natasja - the owner of Niobe Hippios, the full sister of Asteria, was the one who was on top of Asteria.

Asteria is going to be covered by Minos this year.

7th of May
Minos and Sirius was master and fox at the Gjorslev Hunt. It was their first hunt ever but both stallions behaved like they have done it thousands of times. Minos was ridden by Lene and Sirus by Astrid. Together with the stallions was Niobe Hippios, a daughter of Mister Malthe and Esk. Mørk Natviol. It was her first hunt as well, but not her last! She really loved it and it looks like she will be as good as her mother in hunting.

Minos in showjumping

29th of April
We were together with all three stallions at the stallion show at "Olsensdressage horses". All of our stallion show themselves very well and we were very proud of them.

Malthe and Sirius were shown both in dressage and in showjumping, while Minos was shown in showjumping with his new rider Ida, who has only been riding him for a couple of weeks.

Malthe and his new rider Louise compeeded for the first time in dressage. They won their class (LA1) with 67%

Sirius and Astrid also compeeded in dressage - their second time - but for horses, since Astrid is to old to compeede in classes for ponies. They also won both their classes (LC2 and LB2) with 70.5% and 68%

The first foal this year "Kalliope Hippios" was born. We look very much forward to see what kind of a "lady" she is - she is after all full sister of Sirius Hippios NFHR 120 (approved stallion) and Orion Hippios NFV 14 (1.class gelding and Gelding of the Year 2005). But for now - she will be our little "puppy".

Together with Minos came our new filly Robin de L ´Eguille and Riddersholms filly Roos de L ´Eguille. Robins father is Priory Firelight II and Roos ´ father is Minos. Both fillies are now at Riddersholms place in Jutland.

Gay Count Shetan (The black Stallion) - a son of Mister Malthe is approved at the danish stallion selection. He became the best of the 3.years old stallion and BIS-reserve of all the stallions.

Shetan is owned by "Blåbærhegnet" and is this season in Jutland at "Vognmandsgården"
